Welcome to CDA 2024
The Child Development Associate course will be completed in a systematic and sequential manner. This course will address the professional competency standards that form the core of the accreditation and credentialing process. The modules are organized around the thirteen (13) functional areas of the Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. Classes will be held primarily in the form of educational workshops, seminars, student presentations, and assignments.

The CDA Course meets the 120 hours of professional education required for the CDA Credential® and guides participants in how to complete the entire CDA Credential® process.

The goal of OMAX Institute CDA course is to prepare CDA candidates to apply to the CDA Council for Professional Recognition.

1) Course chapters – Weekly CDA tutorials and core and elective chapters.
2) Lesson reading and Quizzes – Required Weekly CDA lesson and quizzes to be accomplished

Readings from the following three books are required to complete the OMAX Institute CDA coursework and the CDA Credential Process. The books are available from the Council for Professional Recognition.
